Because there's sea salt in this product, would you say that people with sensitive skin should use this with caution?
- Asked by Mikka
- Official Answer By Good Molecules - Brand EngageThe sea salt in the formulation of the Hydrating Gel Moisturizer with Electrolytes is only about 0.50%, so it should not cause any concern for sensitive skin. But as with all skin care products, it is best to perform a patch test 24 hours prior to full application. Wanted to love…
I was very excited when this first launched as i have a combo skin type. The oil-free, water based formula seemed like a good fit for me at first. Unfortunately, this product does not work well with others, even with GM products. I was really disappointed by the performance as it does feel hydrating...

Don't get it
It's honestly does nothing, it feels like water going on the face and drying. My skin honestly felt more dry after using this. Would only recommend if you are very oily prone
Not for me
Again, it feels nice! Its just very thin and it pills when you put another product on top of it like sunscreen.
Best For Oily Acne Prone Skin
This moisturizer is the only one I have found that doesn't cause breakouts or irritate my sensitive skin. I tend to be oily but using a face wash without a moisturizer makes my skin angry. I have tried so many affordable moisturizers Cetaphil, crave, la.roche,, byoma, and countless others. This is it. It also initially is a little tacky so I wonder how it will fair under makeup. I've been using it for about a month now but haven't had energy to do a full makeup look but it sits well under sunscreen and concealer. For the winter time I'll likely go back to the Ordinary moisturizer because that, too, works well buts it's way too heavy for the summer months. (Also the ordinary lightweight gel irritates my skin, it's only the medium level moisturizer). All in all if you are oily and acne prone and don't want a moisturizer that sits on your skin give this a shot.
Would not repurchase
This moisturizer is THIN and did absolutely nothing for my skin. My skin is combo with an oily Tzone for reference. I knew after the first use this would be a dud product but I used it for a solid week to fully test it out. I had to go over my skin within an hour with another gel moisturizer because it did nothing for my skin. Don't waste your time!
meh
I have combination skin and have been breaking out heavily in my T-zone so I've been looking for something gentle to balance my dry patches on my cheeks with my oily areas. I could see this being good for someone with oily skin all over, but unfortunately it just hasn't been enough for my dry patches. I've also tried the lotion form of their daily mosturizer and that one felt too thick so... onto the next lol.
