Most Helpful Positive Review Very Grippy These work very well for silky slippery hair. I will say though for anyone with hair shorter than collar bone length the larger of the two sizes is a little bit too big; it'll still give volume but no curl and mine need a little bobby pin reinforcement. (obvioulsy that's at no fault of the rollers just wanted to give a size reference)
Most Helpful Critical Review Terrible Product I wished I could have loved this but I couldn't get myself to. The rolls wouldn't hold in my hair, needless to say I do have thick hair but even in smaller parts the hair wouldn't stay and it never gave my hair any type of texture or curl. My hair would fall stuck straight, worst than if I did a basic blowout. I love and stand by all DryBar products, but just not this one.

I have naturally wavy hair that often puffs up and frizzes out, but I love the look of blunt bangs. I hate using heat styling on my hair because no matter how careful I am or what spray I use, the humidity in my home state just doesn't let the styling hold. Plus, it doesn't help that it can get pretty damaging in the long term. Enter: High Tops... The "small" ones are perfect for wet-setting my bangs- after I shower, I section them into three. I curl the top layer inward on itself, then the bottom in two parts towards my face and then I fall asleep. And it works great! If I'm going to be working that day I'll set it with spray before I take them out. They're self adhering, but usually I add a bobby pin just to keep it in place while I'm sleeping.
Perfect volume, size, and curl. The large rollers are also great to add a little upward volume to the back of my head, but I don't find myself reaching for these too often.

Pulls out your hair 1

These feel like Velcro in your hair. Don't buy these if you have 4c hair. My hair is a few inches past my bra strap. I thought great these are large rollers so my hair will fit. Not only was my hair to thick when I wrapped it all the way it was too much hair on one roller.
I would buy this item again! 4

This product definitely gives my hair more volume.

I give it 4 stars because of the quantity and the price. But the rollers are the bomb get volume on hair
Fantastic Lift 5

After blow drying my hair I normally take 1- 1 1/2 inches on each side of my part and the three large rollers in this set. It took a little bit to get the hang of it and clip them in place with an alligator clip on each side of the front two and do my makeup. By the time I'm finished my hair is completely cool. Flip over with a little hairspray and I'm good to go. These give the best lasting volume for days and make my layers stand out like no other!
Great 4
Stays in place well from Webster, NY
I use them after using my blow dry brush and it gives a perfect blow out look and volume and a little curl. They stay in place really well too.
Just no 2
Nat from UT
Hair falls off the rollers until you're trying to take them off, then it rips out a few strands. Stays in place and good size just not worth the hassle
Not worth it 1
Lizz from Texas
Had high hopes for these but they don't even stick in your hair and end up making your hair frizzy.
Not only is this cute but it works!!! 5

If you are looking to get volume on your hair. Not only is it cute but it works!!!
Don't do it. 3

Well, there is no fear these will fall out of your hair. They're dense velcro. However, they will rip hair out of your head and pull the style out at the same time. Don't do it. There are other rollers out there and these ain't it.
Let down 2

Did not stick well on my long wavy hair. I wound up having to use clips to hold them in place. The ends wound up frizzy from the Velcro and didn't really get much bounce or wave. I'm better off using a round brush as I blow dry.
I didn't think they meant velcro so literally 2

If you like pulling velcro out of your hair this might be for you, but only if you also have short/thin hair. Horrible feeling to remove the rollers.
Rollers Get The Job Done 3
Shan from Pittsburgh, PA
The rollers did what they're made to do.. I used them in freshly dried hair and they held my thick hair just fine (I added clips for support, but could do without) However, there is no difference between these and Goody rollers you could grab at your local dollar store. You're buying the name more than the product.
Double win with this! 5

If you want volume to your blow dry, this is worth the purchase!
Would not buy again, would not recommend 1
Afisher from Medford, Oregon
So right off I realized that 6 were not enough for all my hair (not a big deal or their fault) so I went and bought a second box (wishes I would have tried even one in my hair first because I would have used that trip to return a box, not buy one). I have thick naturally curly / easy to frizzy hair. *i used these after blow drying and straightening* The first thing i noticed was that they did not stay put and I had to use a clip to told them in place or else they would unroll about an inch and hang awkwardly. Then when I went to take them out my hair stuck to them so I had to pull them through my hair *which felt like (and looked like) the equivalent to brushing it with a boar bristle brush* and took out most of the curl and left my hair frizzy. So unless you have extremely smooth and straight hair these probably won't work for you (and if you have smooth hair I'm guessing you will definitely have to use clips.
They get the job done! 4

I agree that they don't necessarily need clips to hold them in place, but I personally used duckbill clips to keep the roller tight against my scalp.
Low quality overpriced rollers 1
Mara from Cincinnati, Ohio
These rollers sucked. I bought them today and tried them out, they didn't work. I had just washed my hair and put them in when my hair was damp to blowdry them. I spent ages getting them in and when I took them out my hair was straight and frizzy. Some of the rollers caught on each other and tangled and matted my hair. I tried following the tutorial they put out and multiple others but these rollers just don't work. I even tried having my mother do it because she has experience with velcro rollers and she couldn't get them to work. Cheap rollers you get from the drug store work exponentially better, and I'll be returning these as soon as I can.
Best rollers 5
Chels from Birmingham
The largest are my favorite they give you so much volume and the curls hold all day
The best roller out there 4
Avery from CO
I've used these for the last two years without any issues. I've used them with both long and short hair, and they do what I need them to do, which is give volume since I have very flat and fine hair. I always and only use them on dry hair that has already been blow-dried with mouse, then place them in and let them sit for about 20-30 minutes, take them out and brush my hair. I've tried using them on wet hair and don't recommend it, they are really best for volume and body on hair already dried with styling product (I use a moisturizing mouse). These were a life safer also when I was overseas and didn't have a blow drier for two weeks; I just stuck them in my air-dried hair and let them do their thing. The only and biggest problem I have with these (that I'm taking a star away for), are the small ones are packaged with the large rollers. I wish they sold these as a set of small and large, SEPARATELY, because I had to buy three of these! I refuse to buy any more and refuse to buy any products from this company because of this, but they are still good rollers. I just find this greedy on the part of the company for women who have short hair and can't use the bigger rollers.
Grips perfectly 5
Sam from Brentwood
I don't know why all these bad reviews are here, probably because people don't know how to use the product. the rollers grip wonderfully in my hair. I can even tilt my head upside down and it will stay just fine. easy and effective purchase.
Just what I was looking for! 4
Renea G from Birmingham, AL
I love these rollers. I've found if I flat iron a section of hair and then roll a section at a time, they work great for me. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because of the price vs. how many rollers you get. I will have to buy another set.
