After shampooing, remove excess water. Apply product from roots to ends, then comb through to evenly saturate the hair. Leave on for 3-5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and style as usual.

I received this product in exchange for a review but I have used similar color glazes and color conditioners in the past. This one has left a longer lasting color in my hair than the other products. The initial color was a bit more red than some of the copper color glazes I have used, but has washed to a warmer orange and is lasting 3-4 washes later. My hair felt healthier after use and is noticeably shinier which is really important to me. I did use gloves when applying the product and I would recommend you use them as well. But it got on my body and it easily washed off and didn't stain. I will buy again!

I initially thought the Keracolor High Shine Tinted Gloss – Merlot would be a direct match for my magenta hair, but it wasn't. Instead of matching the magenta tone, it actually darkened my hair more than I expected. That said, I still consider this a positive overall experience. My hair is fully magenta, but my natural dark roots have started growing in, and this gloss really helped bridge the gap between the two. It toned down the red just enough to better match my darker roots, making everything look more balanced and intentional instead of harsh or disconnected. It definitely helped avoid that "two-tone" or uneven look, which I really appreciated. The product was very easy to use and applied smoothly. I did use gloves because I wasn't sure about staining, and while I haven't tried it without gloves, I'd probably recommend them just to be safe. To me, this feels very similar to a rinse or color-depositing gloss, which makes sense since it's meant to maintain color in between dye jobs — and it absolutely did what it was intended to do. Overall, I'm giving this 4 stars because while the shade wasn't an exact match, it performed well, blended my color beautifully, and delivered on its purpose. I'd definitely use it again for maintenance between coloring sessions.

It was very easy to use. Directions were easy to understand. And it seems to keep the shine going,but the only down side is that the color stays on your hand after use.
