We recommend applying it at night and letting it fully absorb while you sleep. It has a lightweight, thin consistency and most people don’t find it makes their hair oily. That said, everyone’s scalp is different. I was very confused by the comments that stated the product is "greasy" because it had the exact opposite effect on my hair - left it extremely dry & itchy.
