I was so disapointed with this product. I liked the color (soft pearl era), but after a week of using this highlighter, it broke!

I was so excited for this product! I managed to get the last one in stock at my Ulta and had been wanting it since it dropped. I wanted a glowy-but-not-sparkly, natural and glassy type of highlight, and thought this was going to be that. I got the soft pearl era shade, and was so bummed. firstly, you have to BUILD it up to see anything. I literally rubbed my brush in the pan, which is something I never do with any other highlighters I own. secondly, this was chalky. you literally could see a white streak on my cheek after application (even with heavy blending), which looks awful and obvious that I'm wearing it. It doesn't have chunky specks of glitter and doesn't emphasize texture, but, it definitely doesn't compare to my other highlighters (or is even remotely close to Rare's- as I've seen it compared to that a lot). Definitely disappointed and wont ever be reaching for it.
