It really does gloss!
I tried this for the first time on my fine, super dry, low porosity, low-medium density 3c with 4c at temple hair yesterday. I used it along with the Bread Hair Milk leave in. I put both on my sopping wet hair in the shower dorectly after washing conditioner out. I then sectioned and brushed through with a denman brush, adding a little Bread foam around the perimeter as well as a little more gel at the crown roots. I went under a hood dryer for 15 or so minutes then diffused the rest of the way. My curls were super shiny, frizz free, and had a strong cast. There was some good separation in curls too, which is not always the case with other products (but that may also be due to technique as I really worked the gel in and used lots of water). I was able to scrunch out the cast (with a little Bread oil), except it held a bit stronger at the perimeter (and I left it since those areas tend to frizz first on me). I slept with a silk bonnet on a satin pillowcase, and all I needed to do this morning was spritz a little moisturizer (Organigrowco Hair Dew) at the perimeter roots to shake my hair back out and make sure it wasn't stiff. Shiny curls are still there, even at the temples and nape of neck where I have courser texture that tends to become undone immediately. The only thing that could make this gel any better would be if they replaced the phenoxyethanol with a clean preservative. We'll see how the curls hold up moving forward but it's looking like a keeper!

I love this gel so much!! The fact that this does not make my scalp irritated or burn is the most comforting feeling ever! I trust this brand for anyone with sensitive scalp like me. It diesnt have a strong smell, it has this very itty bitty slight smell. It doesnt smell bad, if anything it has just a neutral smell. The only two cons is that it can cause some build up over time and its expensive. I got this gel sometime mid summer and theres still product left. Otherwise, it's a good investment and worth a try!

This gel has really revived my curls. I thought my curls were a lost cause so I would straighten my hair. I decided this summer was the summer I'd bring my curls back. This gel has helped me revive them.

I actually liked the product it didn't smell weird but it says to use a large amount if you have curly, coily, thick hair but I don't recommend that. I used a large amount and it gave my hair a watery wet feel and took forever to dry so the next time I didn't use an excessive amount. Does the job and keeps your curls with no issues.
