Rake through wet or damp hair in sections from root to tip. Make sure your hair has enough water in it to spread the hair-cream properly, making sure you coat every strand.
Plop your hair, or finger coil in sections, then air-dry or diffuse.
For a braid-out apply hair-cream evenly to damp hair and then braid into sections. Leave in overnight for softly defined waves the next day.

I really want to like it
I want to like this product but for some reason, when I put it on my wet hair it feels so drying and it's extremely hard to brush through. When it dries it feels not to bad though and that confuses me.
I think I'm in love
This leave in is thick but not heavy and very moisturizing. I just picked this up and a whim and I'm so glad that I did. It smells amazing and left my hair feeling so soft and its incredibly defined. A very little goes a long way. I'll definitely continue using this. My hair is 3c/4a medium texture and porosity and about waist length for reference.

The oil is the only thing I like from this line out of the Wash Day Essentials kit that I tried. I use this when I have braids, when I wash & go, when I do a braid out, a twist out. It's such a solid oil and it's lightweight so you can use a little when the hair is blown out as well. The little tiny stopper hole reminds me of those old perfume bottles that you used to dab a little perfume out of or those old aftershave bottles. I'd rather have a glass dropper because when your hands are slick with oil or another liquid it will be easier to drop the bottle. I have a travel size and a full size due to receiving the travel size in a goodie bag. I love that they have a travel size. Their portions are also very generous for the price.
I got it just a few days ago and i love it.
It makes my hair so much more manageable at the end of the day. I havent used it on a wash day yet but the past few nights i applied just a couple drops before going to sleep and it gave my very tangled hair just the right amount of slip to make it look soft and allow me to break apart those knots. Im 2c/3a, low porosity, fine/med hair. The smell is very strawberry but I honestly cant smell it after I put it on. I feel like its going to last me so long. Im so happy
