AMAZING AND RADIANT
As someone with combination skin that's dry one day and oily the next depending on the weather, finding a sunscreen that works for me has always been a challenge. But this SPF 50 gel-cream is a total game-changer. It hydrates my dry areas perfectly without making my T-zone greasy, and it adjusts so ...

Good Chemical Sunscreen
I bought this because Versed's mineral sunscreen (Guard's Up) sadly seems to be being phased out. I don't typically like chemical sunscreens, but I trust Versed's formulas and so I gave it a shot. The sunscreen is wonderfully hydrating and didn't irritate my sensitive skin, but it also didn't make m...

Moisturizing and Non-Irritating

I switched to Versed recently after Olay suddenly started irritating my skin after years of use! The positives are: it works, it's moisturizing, it does not irritate my skin at all, even if I accidentally put it on my undereye area, it does not pill and has no white cast. The one con for me is I do find it to be greasy. Others have called it dewy, and maybe I'm just not used to that, but I feel it on my face somewhat and I see it somewhat in the mirror and am not used to that look. I feel like my hair sticks to it, etc. Olay had a matte formula that was completely dry, but then it started making my skin red and burn so there's that. I am absolutely sticking with this. I just have to either get used to the dewy look, or maybe powder my face after. I look similar in color to the blonde pale model they show, and you can see that her forehead, etc, looks a bit greasy. Or dewy!

I had been using a very thick Kiehls moisturizer for the past few years, but was growing dissatisfied because it took a while to truly soak into the skin and if I put it on before going out the door I would start perspiring immediately. This moisturizer is perfect, it gives me that dewy look that the Kiehls did, but soaks in much more quickly. The bottle (plastic tube with a pump) is well made and stands up on my counter.
Oily

This leaves the face looking very shiny, either like you are oily or super sweaty, which isn't cute. It feels oily to the touch as well so if you scratch your cheek or something your fingers will have oil on them. I tried using a setting powder on after, which helped, but was inconvenient to me since I don't typically wear makeup.
Best sunscreen ever!

This is genuinely the best sunscreen I've ever used, and as someone with a darker complexion, I've used my fair share of sunscreens to see what works for me. This sunscreen is amazing. There's no white cast, it's moisturizing, lightweight, and best of all, doesn't pill. Not to mention how affordable it is compared to some other brands and formulations. I will say this though: it does have a dewy finish so if you have oily skin or sweat a lot, you may look greasy but if you have dry skin, this is perfect to use on top of a moisturizer.
too shiny

I don't like this sunscreen as much as the old versed sunscreen. It feels nice, but I don't like the glowy aspect. As someone with oily skin, I don't need the help looking shiny. This sunscreen ends up making me look extra oily and it highlights my texture, so then I have to use another product to mattify my skin. I would just prefer if a staple product like this didn't require an extra step for me to get the look I want.
