The Ordinary recommends performing a patch test prior to incorporating a new product into your skin care routine.
Use ideally in the PM, no more frequently than once per day. After cleaning, saturate a cotton pad with the formula and sweep across the face and neck. Avoid the eye contour and contact with eyes. This formula should not be used on sensitive, peeling or compromised skin. Limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.
Contraindications: Do not use in the same routine as direct Acids, EUK 134 0.1%, retinoids, pure or ethylated vitamin C, or peptides.

It can also exfoliate areas of the body experiencing rough and bumpy skin. However, we do not recommend applying this product to covered areas of the body such as the inner thighs or underarms, as these areas may have more sensitive skin, and the natural occlusion of these regions may make them more prone to irritation. THE HOLY GRAIL FOR EVERYTHING
EVERY HUMAN ON THE PLANET NEEDS THIS!! I would give this 10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for this product. I purchased this as a recommendation from a friend after asking how to decrease pore size. I noticed instant results after using on my face. my face looked brighter, cleaner, more evenly toned. I have multiple keloid scars on my chest and C-section incision that never responded to steroid injection treatments. I was told my next step would be radiation therapy to treat my keloid scarring, and it would be several thousand dollars. I randomly decided to start using this on my keloid scars and also the backs of my thighs for my "strawberry skin". YALL after only ONE week my scars weren't as thick, pigmentation of the scars were lighter, some scars even unnoticeable, and the backs of my thighs were so much smoother and clear. I love how multi purpose this product can be, I use it on my hair, on my body, face etc. I wish it was in a spray bottle, it would be more convenient for me to use but other than that, I love the radiance this gives over time. Use sparingly at first
Holy grail
I have mild to moderate keratosis pilaris (KP) on my thighs and upper arms, and The Ordinary's Glycolic Acid has honestly been amazing. I noticed improvement within 24 hours, which really surprised me. After about three applications over about 4 days, the texture and appearance on my thighs improved significantly. Since I see my thighs more often than my upper arms, the changes there were especially noticeable. I almost never write reviews for products, but this one truly impressed me. It's quickly become a holy grail product in my routine. If you struggle with KP and are looking for something to help smooth the skin's texture and appearance, this has been a game changer for me.
