This Glaze is a Shining Star!

The Glow Mania Glazing Queen mask was provided to me as a free sample by Matrix as part of a sampling program by BzzAgent. The fact that I did not have to pay for it did NOT affect my review of this mask. My hair has been over processed from frequent highlighting. I have been working for the past ye...ar on restoring it to its prior healthy appearance, using many high end products. This Glazing Queen mask did for my hair what even salon gloss treatments have not been able to do. After using the Glow Mania color protecting shampoo, I used this mask instead of conditioner. The jar is printed with the manner in which the mask helps make your hair look glossy, but I will admit that the print was rather hard to read. I did work through it, however, and this does not factor into my opinion on the product itself. It contains Glycolic Acid, an AHA, and rose hip oil. Because of the AHA, it could make your skin more sensitive to the sun, so there is a warning on the jar to limit exposure to the sun after use. It also warns to avoid contact with the scalp and skin, but that was impossible since I shampoo my hair in the shower, and when rinsing, it naturally goes all over my scalp and back. I had no reaction to it at all, and I have sensitive skin. I left it on for 3-5 minutes, as instructed on the jar. My hair, when rinsing, felt amazing. The slight citrus scent washed out with the product, so no overpowering smell at all. As I was blow drying my hair, I noticed that it was SHINY! There was more shine in my hair than I get from salon glossing treatments. My hair dried beautifully, was moisturized, and even the next day, the shine was still there. I cancelled my appointment at the salon for the between hi-lighting glaze as I didn't need it. When I run out of this sample, I will definitely buy this product as it saves money on salon treatments.
