This solves my hunt for a lightener. I have many acne scars and sunburn spots. This instantly lightens. Yes it is temporary like all skincare. Very effective! There is a strong smell upon application but results are worth it! I saw glowing skin and reduced discoloration in only a few days, using only at night. I'm 32 and no wrinkles yet so I can't speak to the effectiveness on wrinkles or fine lines but I've loved all of the algenist products i've tried so far. I'm going to be loyal to this brand especially as I get older and develop wrinkles. My makeup application goes on much more smoothly too because this softens and refines the skin!
