How To Use
UNLOCK THE DEVICE AND FLIP
Before first use, download the FOREO For You app to unlock and register your device. Scan the QR code located on the packaging to easily download the FOREO app. After initial registration, the device can be used WITHOUT the app.
Flip open your FLIP™ hairbrush, and press the universal button to turn on the LED light.
TURN ON THE DEVICE
Press the universal button again to switch between LED light colors: red LED, green LED or blue LED.
BRUSH AND TREAT
Brush hair as normal, from scalp to ends of hair. Once finished, press the universal button for 3 seconds to turn the LED light off.

I like it
I've been really enjoying my FOREO FLIP LED Light Hairbrush and love how easy it is to use every day. It feels nice and gentle on my hair, and the LED light is such a cool extra feature. My hair feels smoother and looks healthier since I started using it, which I'm really happy about. It's become a simple little part of my routine that I actually look forward to.
Don't understand the bad reviews!
This brush is wonderful! It did not break, the red light always works and holds a long charge. Its the perfect amount of soft detangling with no breakage at all! Bought it on a one day sale on a whim but I would definitely buy it agian or recommend it to friends!
Not worth the price
If you can get this for under $10, then maybe it is worth trying. However, the red lights aren't really making long enough contact with your scalp to do anything useful. Aside from that, it is super annoying that you have to download their app, just to turn on the product. It is also an awkward shape, making it a little difficult to use. It does detangle, but there's other brushes that are far less, and work better. It's kind of a stupid product that I got suckered into trying.
Helpful for my trichotillomania
Genuinely not sure why people are flipping out so much over this brush in these negative comments. Really weird. I struggle with trichotillomania, so I bought this in March during the 50% off sale to help with my hair growth. Yeah there's an app, and yeah you register the brush, but once you do, it shows you the battery percentage of it so you know when to charge it, and you can also change the duration of time the light stays on, ranging from say 2 minutes or up to 5 minutes. I appreciate how the brush has red, green and blue light functions, all helping with different scalp problems. But again, for me, I use the red light mostly to help with my hair growth. Instead of pulling my hair out, I brush my hair with the red light function to help stop the bad habit. It's been helping too. Highly recommend.

I would think you'd get the same results buying one of the red light panels with different light settings, sitting under it and brushing your hair. and that's just what I intend to do. another ULTA review said hers was totally defective and FOREO made her show proof she destroyed the old one with a razor!?!? that is wild and a total turnoff. this product's terrible performance+reading other reviewers subpar, terrible experiences, has made me decide to never buy or ask for a Foreo product as a gift, ever again. Their products are too pricey for the crappy performance (mine doesn't even turn on properly!) coupled with a snooty attitude like you're going to get over on them, because you need the product replaced. FOREO: Read the room, Boo. You can't have subpar products AND alienate your base!! I mean, you CAN I guess, but it isn't a recipe for brand longevity or creating brand loyalty.
