I am almost 70 years old. I have some very dark spots. I have tried alot of dark spot correctors and nothing works. I wear Vichy sunscreen everyday. I want to start wearing a foundation to help cover up the dark spots. My skin is fair and can be prone to redness sometimes. I don't like the matt finish. I like the cream. I need some advice. '

LOVE
I absolutely love this foundation and switched from Kat Von D's line to this. It's a better color match, blends well, doesn't cause breakouts, sensitive enough to go over existing breakouts, dries matte and does not shoe pores when a powder is baked on. Hands down the best and will continue to purch...

Too Matte for My Dry/Dehydrated Skin
I think this was a good product, it was just too drying for my skin at this time. I have sensitive, acne prone skin that is on actives that make it prone to dryness and peeling, and I live in a climate with dry weather especially in the winter. This product is extremely pigmented. I mixed a drop in ...

A true full coverage creator foundation
I first picked up this foundation about 3 years ago on sale. It's has good clean ingredients, and nothing that should clash with my very sensitive and acne prone skin. So I gave it a shot! And I was so very glad I did! I would say it's a very very true full coverage, makeup artist/ creator, customizable pure pigment foundation. The first time I used it I really over applied, not being used to anything possibly so high coverage. But that was ok, and I just learned that amount would give you a FULL BEAT look. The next time I just went with a bout 2 drops, and I found that even that still gave me complete full coverage all over my entire face. The next time, I went in with 1 drop for the entire face, blended well, and then went in with a tiny bit more under the eyes instead of added concealer product. THIS WORKED PERFECT for me personally. Then I found trying it with prep products wasn't necessary for me at all. The pure control you have over the product blending so easily, when you apply it to bare skin, is just fantastic! If I need more moisture, I can apply with with sone setting spray on a sponge. But normally I prefer to apply it with a face brush, and just buff all over the place. Starting in the center and working outwards, is a great technique for me and this product. I would say that if you just judge this foundation as a stand-alone product, the finish will give you a true matte, true full coverage, that totally dries down, and is sort of glued there until you want to remove it. If you go in with just 1-3 drops, it doesn't look cakey. But more than that… yah girl… that's just too much, and the finish will be bad. I prefer to do the foundation alone, extra under my eyes and no concealer, then some powder blush and bronzer, usually I use Hourglass, and then a medium amount of setting spray to moisturize it all in, melt it together, and freeze it in place. I used about 6 different setting sprays, and all of them have been perfectly compatible with this foundation. The Hourglass finishing powders have been fantastic in making this very flat full coverage foundation, come to life with the micro sheens in HG products. I bought another darker shade in the summer, when we needed family photos. And I would say that I made the mistake of doubling my drops applied, thinking the fuller coverage was necessary for the photos. It made me look cakey, and way over done. But again with the HG products… the pictures actually turned out making me look like a perfect plastic mannequin doll! 😂😂😂 Which absolutely wasn't my intention, and I won't be doing that again. But hey, I learned from it! And maybe you sometimes want to look like a plastic mannequin doll! Maybe that's your exact vibe and goal! So maybe this is exactly what you should do! 😂 But me personally, I will stick to less than 2 drops for the entire face, which gives that full coverage, but doesn't start stepping into cakey. I would add, that I don't prefer to mix it with products before applying. I get better result applying it pure on its own, and the blend and control is super fast that way. Then I add extra on top for whatever my skincare needs are that day. I've never had this foundation budge at all before I went to remove it at night. No cracking, no separating, no freak oil slicks, no freak clinging to dry patches, literally nothing weird! It stays like a face painted mask until I chose to wash it off! I am oily / combo/ with occasional dry patches. Very sensitive skin, very acne prone. 33 y/o mother and wife.
Just NO
So...I wanted to try a different foundation and this 'looked' like a good idea --it was not. I have dry/combination skin, & OMG it looked terrible (to the point of removing everything and starting over)! It clings to dry patches, it doesn't blend out well with a blender or brush, it settled in to every line I have, every crease, and pore EVEN with pore no more primer...I had more 'skin' issues than I did in my teens! (yikes!!!) some of them I didn't know about until I used this product 😂.. so just no. Also, the shade finder was WAY off on this and it oxides to a strange shade 🤷🏻♀️
Not for dry skin!
It's got great coverage and a little goes a long way, however, it absolutely should NOT be under the filter tab of for dry skin. I didn't even notice any dry patches prior to application and within an hour I noticed it has adhered and emphasized 2 dry patches on my face.

Very disappointed. Plan to return it tomorrow. I did not notice it said drops instead of multi use liquid pigments. Both me and my sister purchased it and it defined our wrinkles which is not good!
Too bad
This is a good product for winter, but not for hot or humid climates.... it separated before my day was over and sat in my pores and lines.
