Why does the color description/choices show names like fair ivory, classic ivory, porcelain but the swatches/color descriptions in the photos are numbers? How do we translate the number shown next to a color in the photos to the available color choices listed? I did the shade finder too and recieved a number with no name.

Not for mature skin
This was recommended to me by a friend. It didn't work for me because it settled in and brought out my wrinkles. It also gave my skin an orangy color. I didn't leave it on long enough to know how long it lasts because I didn't like the look. Would probably be good for someone much younger.
Reminds me of Nars Light Reflecting!
I usually wear Nars throughout the year when I'm pale but this summer I'm balling on a budget. I use the normal St Tropez and ordered Medium Buff (originally for my mom but I tried it and loved it!). Next time I would get something just a taaaad lighter but that's on me! I love the way it feels on and I don't feel like it's going to melt off throughout the day. Honestly might be better than Nars.

I ordered the lightest one and it was still wsy too dark; all of the other fit me foundations dont seem to have this problem. If youre really pale dont buy this one.

The Ulta algorithm matched the shade for me based on a shade I've used from another brand, which was nice. I'm in my early 40's, and I have no complaints about this foundation. There is one thing I particularly like, which is how clean it smells. It's almost like no smell at all, but the little bit that it does smell is clean.
