Heavy duty. 1.5 inch in size. All of my shoulder length fine hair fits under this clip with room to spare. I can put my hair in a bun and you can't even see the bun because the clip covers the entire thing. Firm hold is the positive feature of this clip. It's way bigger than it needs to be for fine hair. The size could be cut in half. It's a normal hair clip, not a "fine hair" clip.
