[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] When I received this body butter I was instantly excited. Nyx is an affordable yet high-quality brand that never disappoints. This product has a nostalgic vibe, reminiscent of the 2000s and 2010s. The scent is subtle and can best be describe...d as a warm, brown sugary caramel scented candle. Not overpowering at all and makes me smile every time I sniff it. The base of the lotion is a cream/gold color with multiple different colored sparkles sprinkled throughout. I believe they are microscopic holographic specks of glitter because they shift so many different colors, including red/pink, gold, orange, silver, and even green. It makes you look like a mermaid and gives a wet, ethereal look. If you are on the paler side like me, you may see the tiniest bit of color when applied, but it dries so naturally to give you a glow that lasts for hours. You can instantly feel the moisturizing properties getting to work as soon as you apply it, and you will still be able to feel the hydration the next day, as well as still see a few sparkles. This is a new summer staple for me because it both hydrates and makes me feel magical, with a mystical glow that shimmers in the shade and sparkles in the sun. I am a girl who loves to sparkle but most body shimmers are too drying, too oily, or have a more gritty glitter feel that's only doable on occasion. This is a true 2 in 1 as it is both a cosmetic and a skincare product, and that is why I highly recommend it. Go treat yourself girl!
