This refreshing, non-sticky body butter but saved my skin
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I'm in love with this product! It has been my go to product for the summer heat! The sun typically dries my skin out super bad, but this product locked in the moisture without leaving a messy residue. The smell was subtle and not overwhelming which I personally loved because you can spray your perfume on top without them counteracting with each other. I layered this product with the body oil and body lotion and my skin was thankfully for the moisture and gave me a beautiful glow. 10/10
Disappointing.
I bought the body butter, oil and mist. Scent is okay. The oil and butter are not shimmery. They have random flakes of glitter that maybe will catch a light now and then but not what I was expecting for a "shimmer" at all.

I have really enjoyed using this body butter over the summer and pairing it with my SDJ body sprays. The caramel and pistachio notes in the NYX body butter go so well with a lot of SDJ fragrances! The Caramelt Mami scent is NYX's shimmer version of their new body butters. While this scent/shade provides a really pretty overall glow, I do not find it to be shimmery at all. I am an adult that loves glitter, so I was a bit disappointed by the lack of shimmer to NYX's Shimmer Body Butter (lol). That said, if you don't love glitter, I think you will be really happy with this product! Because the NYX butter has a thicker texture, a little of this product goes a long way even though the container is 4.9 ounces and seems small. For the price and this being a drugstore item, I do wish you got more product, especially since NYX is not yet known for their body care line and that this is a new product line for the company. I really enjoy this product, as it smells delicious and is very moisturizing. But, because of the product size and price, along with the fact that it did not have as much shimmer as I had hoped for, I would give it 3 stars overall. I would still recommend this to others, as it's not a bad product, but only if the small cons do not bother you.
