I was between this and their vitamin CE ferulic and ultimately decided to go with this as ascorbic acid was further down the ingredient list and so slightly more gentle. I am 39 with combo reactive skin, and this did not irritate my skin, it just gives me a really beautiful glow and makes my skin look healthy. I have a very hard time finding vitamin C products that work for me and don't break me out. This absorbed into my skin, but still moisturized and didn't pill under makeup. I work in plastic surgery and patients compliment me and ask me what treatments im getting. Ulta is very generous with their samples so I was able to try this at home and I am almost finished and will purchase it…very happy and highly recommend.
