I wasnt super excited about this but actually enjoyed using it when I need extra help. I thought it would be drying but ot wasn't. It's lightweight but hydrating enough. I'll continue to use. I was pleasantly surprised.

Surprisingly effective and super gentle!
The Kiehl's Gently Effective Acne-Treating lotion is exactly what it sounds like: gentle, but it gets the job done. The texture is super unique — it's a soft, clay-like paste that melts into your skin as you massage it in. It doesn't foam up, but it still gives you that satisfying deep-clean feeling. I have combination skin that's sensitive and prone to small breakouts, and using this as a cleanser really helped calm everything down. After a couple of uses, I noticed my skin felt smoother, and no breakouts! It didn't dry me out or leave me red like a lot of acne products tend to.
