FIRST: Blend the Matte eyeshadow in the crease and outer corner using a soft eyeshadow brush. Use packing motions for more intensity and blend to diffuse.
THEN: Pat the Sparkling Wet Effect formula onto the eyelid and inner corner using a finger or dense eyeshadow brush for a semi-sheer glistening, high-shine finish.

I was sent this Natasha Denoa eyeshadow duo in exchange for my unbiased review. This duo is a good starting point, but a bit light compared to eyeshadows I normally use. It is good for low impact daytime looks, but doesn't translate well into night looks. The shimmer color, Mia, is a great highlighter and shimmer color but doesn't offer any pigment. The matte color, Transition, is a bit on the warm end for me and isn't as buildable as I like matte colors to be. I like these colors best used together to get both pigment and shimmer, but would prefer a cooler toned matte color for more versatility.

I am so in love with this eyeshadow duo!! At first, I thought it might be a bit too much for my fair complexion - but I was so wrong! In fact, I can see this duo looking lovely on everyone!! It's very easy to use, and can be subtle for daytime or wowza for night, too!! And, it feels so nice on my skin! Even the case is great - very sturdy, but easy to open / close! This is a definite YES!!!

I have mixed feelings about the Eyeshadow Duo. The colors are definitely beautiful — smooth, pigmented, and blends like a dream (which is exactly what I expect from Natasha Denona). The shimmer shade especially has that gorgeous, soft glow without being too glittery. That said, the duo feels a bit limiting. With only two shades, you can really only create one or two basic looks. It's great for a quick everyday eye or travel touch-ups, but not something I'd reach for if I want variety. The pans are also on the smaller side for the price. Overall, it's a nice little luxury item — great quality, sleek packaging, and easy to use — but I wish it offered a bit more versatility for the cost.
