NYX Professional Makeup Epic Ink Glitz Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner

If NYX would redo this product the right way it could be amazing!! First all, of the shades were not my color! I'm a neutral and not one hit the mark. I wish they had a chocolate brown or an army green. The pink and purple look almost identical and like others have said has very little pigment. Also on the light end of the spectrum. Which is such a contrast to the blue with is extremely pigmented and a dark blue. I think the sparkle near the eyes make them look amazing. It's not overdone and blatant sparkles. More twinkles when it catches the light. NYX please revamp this. I would buy them all if it was done better.

I was very disappointed with the NYX Epic Ink Glitter Liner in the shade "Flashy Flare." While I was initially drawn in by the promise of bold glitter and a dramatic finish, the product severely lacked pigmentation. The color payoff was almost non-existent, requiring multiple layers just to achieve minimal visibility. Unfortunately, even after several applications, the result was patchy and uneven, with the glitter barely showing up against the skin.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I received this Epic Ink Liner Glitz in Bootcut Bling complimentary in exchange for my honest review. It has a brush-tip applicator which allows for comfortable and precise application, achieving fine lines using just the tip or thicker lines using more pressure and more of the brush. However, I didn't find that I had "1-stroke payoff" as mentioned on the packaging. The first application was very subtle and barely visible. I was able to achieve a more pigmented look with a second application though. Working the brush on the back of your hand to get the ink into the tip also helps, and I found that I needed to do this periodically during application. Once on, it does have good staying power, although I don't know that it seems truly waterproof. I thought that this was going to be an adventurous look for me, but it ended up being much more subtle than I expected. Even with the double application, the color did not look as dramatic as it does on the packaging. I am very fair, so it may just not have been especially compatible with my skin tone. It does have a nice shimmer to it in the sun though, and I think it would work well as a pop of subtle accent color alongside a more traditional liner shade. It could also be a good way to ease into trying a more colorful liner shade. I would be interested in trying other shades that may pop a little bit more on my coloring.

Love the concept but the color "Bootcut Bling" is to light/ pale on darker skin tone. It gives a little shimmer and it can work if you want something very understated. But the concept, liner and application is great. It didn't seem to transfer and it dried down very quickly. I need to see if they have other colors!!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This eyeliner specifically is one of the best I've ever tried (in the black shade.) I use it almost daily and it dries quickly and stays without flaking. It's perfect in every way. The shade was new to me and this is pretty due to the glitter however the pigment is very sheer. So if you are looking for something more sheer than pigmented with staying power & glitter then I would try this.
