Cute but not great for fine hair or beginners
This is a really cute hair pin but unfortunately it didn't really work well with my hair. My hair is very long and fine and this pin was just not able to fasten it, even after I looked up videos on how to do it. Good for thick/longer hair
I've used smaller french pins before without success, so I was pumped to find this! It works great with my longer, thick, curly hair. I definitely would advise this though if your hair is shorter and thinner.

I have long wavy hair that is very thick. I didn't think this would ever hold my hair up, but I was pleasantly mistaken. It is easy to use and holds my hair in place without that feeling of it going to fall any second. I highly recommend!

Finally
I've bought many hair pins that have failed to secure all of my hair. I'm not the most savvy at hair styling so I thought I was at fault. As it turns out, I just needed a more substantial pin! This pin has given me the same security as a hair clip while looking like I put more effort into my hair than I actually did. Totally recommended if you've got long, thick hair! I do wish there were more color/material options.
