Not a hit for my hair

I had my hopes up a bit for L'Oreal's Elnett Slickback Cream which I received in exchange for a honest review, but unfortunately it just straight up did not work for my hair. I used as directed, on damp hair, brushed through, I even tried adding more. But the result is just as frizzy as my normal hair. I will say it smells pleasant and doesn't leave a gross or noticeable product texture for which I am thankful but I will not bother using this again.

Hair Type Straight Hair
The good things: soft hold, doesn't flake or leave any residue, isn't stiff or sticky. The not so good things: it doesn't really have the holding power that I need for when I want to achieve a slicked back look. I have long, thick hair and if I'm trying to do a slicked back hairstyle this just isn't strong enough to hold anything in place, feels more like a leave in conditioner. I feel like this would work best on people with fine or thin hair.

Good hold. Definitely sticky and dries on the harder side. So overuse will cause crunchy hair. Works well for a nice slick back look. Worth a try!
