Batiste Dry Shampoo Overnight Deep Cleanse

When I say I never write reviews I mean NEVER, because I have yet to find any product - skincare, makeup, haircare, that I'm truly happy with, that does what it claims to do. BUT... this product is amazing. I have not only VERY thick hair, but I also have a LOT of hair that's very long, course, porous, wavy, and dry. I'm talking it takes almost an hour to blow dry. I live in Florida and because my hair is so thick and I have so much of it, with the heat and high humidity, air doesn't reach my scalp (not even when it's windy), causing it to get very moist and gross under there after just one day. Because it takes 2 hours to dry and then straighten/curl my hair, I can only wash it once a week. I have tried every dry shampoo and oil absorbing product out there, and although the regular Batiste is good, it leaves a white cast on my dark brown hair. I've tried the one for dark hair, and although it covers my gray roots, if I touch my hair the color gets on my hands. I also forget it's in my hair and put my glasses/sunglasses on my head only to get home, look in the mirror, and realize I walked around all day with dark brown all over my nose. I saw this product when I was in Ulta and figured I'd give it a try. I sprayed it on my roots before bed and massaged it in, not expecting anything spectacular. But when I woke up my scalp and roots felt so clean, and my hair was so soft. It felt like I had just washed it. I was expecting the typical dry, chalky, icky feeling dry shampoo gives my roots, but it was the complete opposite. I will never use any other dry shampoo, so I pray they never discontinue it. You don't need to stray a lot. Just a light spray worked miracles.

I have tried many dry shampoo sprays and powders over time but never found one that didnt leave my hair sticky, piece-y, or with a white cast. This product eliminated all of these things. I no longer have to wash my bangs frequently because they get dirty and flat, this dry shampoo takes away the oil and makes them fluffy again. No white cast to be seen. The scent is fresh but stronger in smell. Avoid if sensitive to fragrance, definitely recommend otherwise.

Put this in at night and wake up with great hair, okay say less! I have dyed black hair and this doesn't leave it looking chalky like many others do (you know the hastily cleaned chalk board look that companies must think all dark haired girlies are after). I've tried almost every affordable dry shampoo on the market and this one takes the cake by far.
