Loyal DW liquid and powder foundation user for years. I've been very pleased with the products until recently. The powder foundation wasn't glued to the frame so when I opened it, it fell to the tile floor and made a huge mess when it broke apart. I then purchased another from a local department store and that one was also unglued. Because I was aware of the problem I was able to avoid the same outcome. The powder is incredibly dusty not substantial as in the past. The color is much darker than my usual shade also. I'm sadly returning this one. I don't mind paying for premium cosmetics when I've found a quality product that delivers great results. The price has increased while the quality has decreased which is not a good combination. Change for the sake of change alone is not a winning strategy. EL must get this quality control issue addressed quickly b4 customers flee to another brand.

I purchased this compact during the Thanksgiving holidays, at a discounted price. I just opened it in January. The color I received is not the color I ordered. It was darker than my fair skin tone. The powder also came unglued from its base. The quality is better at the department store.
The best powder
I love how Estée Lauder gives you the options just to refill your old powder! It saves money, which is the best thing lol ! All of Estée Lauder products are amazing and are really good to my skin. Looks like I'm not wearing any makeup at all and it's full coverage.
Pebble color is so dark now

I received pebble for a Christmas gift and just opened it on the 24th. Because it was 40 days from purchase they wouldn't let me return it. I had no idea the formulation was changed and she didn't explain that to me or suggest new color match. Very disappointed with holidays this couldn't be returned. It's not useable. It should have been a waning on web site before purchasing. It's a huge color difference.

I have been wearing this compact makeup for at least 10 years, and my most recent purchase, which is the reformulated product, just doesn't measure up. The new version is too powdery in the compact, and emphasizes wrinkles on my face. The color is significantly more yellow than the same named earlier version. I'll be looking elsewhere for a better product.
