Is it normal for this product to be grainy?
- Asked by Tori
- Official Answer By Good Molecules - Brand EngageThank you for reaching out with your question! The Good Molecules Discoloration Correcting Serum does in fact have small white granules, which are normal to the formula of the product. Once the product is applied onto the skin, this should fully dissolve and will not be visible. Keeps my melasma in check without irritation
Thrilled to see Good Molecules at Ulta! I first purchased the *Discoloration Correcting Serum* last year as part of a trio (which included the *Niacinamide Toner* and *Daily Brightening Serum*) to combat melasma as well as hyperpigmentation left by acne rosacea and eczema flares. I'd run out of a pr...

not for sensitive skin
After a lot of trial and error and money spent on quality skincare, I had finally gotten my sensitive skin to a point where it was staying soft, smooth, and relatively hydrated, and I was very pleased. I do have some melasma from intense sun exposure in the past, and it is the one skincare problem I...

Still Evaluating: Uncertain at the Moment
I have been using the product for a week and have not yet noticed a significant difference. However, I understand that visible results may take time to develop. Given the overwhelmingly positive reviews and a recommendation from my dermatologist, I decided to try it. I will continue to monitor its effectiveness and assess any improvements over the next month.
Terrible product!!!
This product ruined my skin! Broke out in hives, red, itchy patches all over my face. Dry spots as well. Now I'm trying to repair my skin and i still have these "light" patches where the skin is trying to heal. Do not recommend.
I would buy this product again
Feels great on my skin
Great, especially for the price point!
This is my go-to reccomendation for those with hyperpigmentation! Especially if you have melanin, this product is VERY good. Nice and straight-forward, and affordable. It clears out dark spots well, and helped me get rid of all of my hyperpigmentation from a few months of hormonal acne while using birth control. Niacinamide, from my experience, is also a relatively safer active, so there's less of a chance of unwanted interactions with the rest of your routine (still patch test, though). I love it for how effective it is for the price point. It also goes on easy, and absorbs fast. I never feel greasy or sticky once it absorbs, either. The one drawback I can think of is how slow it is. Consistent usage is key, which can sometime be a pain when I get slight acne in a short timeframe. it usually takes a few weeks before I see new spots disappear. Although acne and sun damage can just happen, it is relativey easy to mitigate with other things that should be in your routine. I usually pair it with the color correction toner Good Molecules also carries, a moisturizer with hyluronic acid, and sunscreen. Moisture to build yourr barrier and a screen to prevent sun damage goes a long way in preventing acne and damage, giving the serrum less work to do. If anything, make sure to use sunscreen with this.
Really didn't do anything
I bought the big bottle bc sometiems you need to use a product longer to see results you know. Literally officially ran out and i see no different i used this religiously everyday and nothing tbh. I feel like its clogged my pores a little.
