Soft shine/gloss if used sufficiently

I used this on hair without any other styling products, I like that it instantly tamed the frizz of thin/fine-textured (on dry, clean, just-washed, hair, not blown-dried ) with just a light coat. It straighten out my frizz while separating the stands, hair looked immediately looked neater and smooth...er. I tend not to be heavy-handed with styling products because of the texture of my hair so the shine or gloss was very subtle. However, testing it out initially, I can see a soft shine if you use adequate amounts. The formula, reminds me of how light hair spray lifts, stiffens, & separate strands away from each other. This could be a good thing to create pieceness, or ,for my hair type, it it could be bad when too much separation looks unnatural, especially on the longer lengths of hair (sides and back, not so much on the bangs); hence, I use sparingly . Unlike hairspray, It won't dry out the hair ( contains 4 diff seed oils-jojoba seed oil, Moringa oleifera seed oil, & rose canina seed oil, pentciethra macroiba seed oil). With its moisturizing properties, my hair looked fine after the initial application, but toward the end of the day, my hair appeared a bit dehydrated as the formula isn't particularly emoillent in consistency (not greasy)or act as a humectant. I think this works best as a final step, like a setting spray, after layering other moisturizing styling ingredients, like a hair primer, leave-in conditioner, then you can be more copious to get the shine/gloss with frizz control results, without the other issues (especially re: thin/fine hair). You can also use it like I did, lightly, without other products, to quickly tame unruly hair in a hurry. On thicker hair types, you may be able to get away using ample amounts without extra effort. I like that it has a UV protection but there is a strong perfumey scent which I could do withou (lasts for a few hrs). Being used near the nose, it is something to keep in mind if you are ultra sensitive to fragrance.
