I received CHANEL DÉMAQUILLANT LACTÉ INTENSE free of charge in exchange for my honest review. After using CHANEL DÉMAQUILLANT LACTÉ INTENSE, I found it to be a very gentle and effective as a makeup remover, especially for mascara. One of the first things that I reviewed are the ingredients and overa...ll the product ranked favorably for all ingredients. All are of good quality and not flagging for any serious risks or health concerns; a major positive. It felt great on my skin and did not leave my face feeling dry or irritated after use. Compared to other makeup removers I have tried, this product felt gentler; not stripping, drying or irritating. It felt smooth and very lightweight. It was particularly effective on my eye makeup (the most difficult to remove). However, unlike some removers that rinse away completely, I found this product difficult to rinse off. While my makeup felt un adhered, there was still a residue-like feeling that made me feel as though both the product and makeup remained on my skin and weren't cleanly washing away. That said, on days when I wore heavier makeup, I found it necessary to follow up with a cleanser to achieve the clean feeling I prefer. Would I buy this product? Possibly, but the price is something I would need to consider. While I enjoyed the performance and luxury feel of the formula, the bottle size relative to the cost may be difficult to justify for those who are budget-conscious. The ingredients being of good quality does help to balance the scale tho. Would I recommend it to friends or family? Yes, especially to someone looking for a gentle, non-drying makeup remover that performs well on eye makeup and values high-quality ingredients. However, I would also let them know that they may want to use it as the first step in a double-cleansing routine.
