We would recommend the Defy Damage Protective Shield or the Dream Blowout Thermal Protection Créme for heat protection. You can use the Treatment in the morning. The normal recommendation is just a few pumps before bed-no need to rinse-just wake up and glow. It’s that easy! We would recommend to apply evenly to clean dry or towel-dried hair at bedtime. Avoiding root area. Leave in overnight-no rinsing necessary. It can be used 2-3x a week or as needed. Hope that helps clarify! ✨💕Was this answer helpful to you

I shower at night, I'm sorry, I'm old (38) and set in my ways. I do not use heat on my hair (don't even own a hair dryer) so yes, I go to bed with damp hair. This product is amazing. I wake up with next to no frizz (no product is perfect againt frizz lol) and my hair looks great going to work. Anything I can use where I don't have to think about it, aka slap it on and then go to bed, is amazing in my book. I'm so happy I found this product and will contuine to use in the future!
