How To Use

Curlsmith diffuser has been uniquely designed to work for all different curl types and diffusing methods.

PIXIE DIFFUSING Makes curl pattern tighter and bouncier. Great for wavy hair. Cup your hair into the diffuser bowl and hold for a couple of seconds close to your scalp. Continue in sections until the whole head is dry.

HOVER DIFFUSING Sets curls in place and minimizes frizz. Great for curly hair. Hover the diffuser around your head, without touching the curls. Start close to the roots and then proceed towards the lengths until all is dry.

STRETCH DIFFUSING Stretches curl pattern to appear longer. Great for coily hair Gently pull a section of your hair and dry with the diffuser close to the central part. The more you repeat it, the more stretched it will be.

Best hairdryer I've ever owned

I've never been picky on dryers. I usually just buy whatever is cheapest. After my hair started to become wavier and frizzier after kids I started trying a few diffusers out and liked the Conair dryers, but I could tell I wasn't using the best one for me. The Curlsmith has a true low setting that do...

dries hair well but hard to handle

I've had my Curlsmith dryer for a little over a year now, and I blow dry at least once a week so I've used it long enough to get a thorougj impression of it. I'll start off with my likes: I really like the lower heat settings on this dryer. Its hottest settings work well for hover diffusing, and t...

I had high hopes for this dryer/diffuser. Went to my local Ulta store and they did not have it in stock and I had to order online. I like to dry on low speed/high temperature. When you turn it on high temp./high speed it is hot but when you turn it to low speed/high temp, the temp drops to almost cold. Does not work like it should.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Bought this when my blowdryer for the past decade was on its last leg. And im so glad i did! The diffuser bowl is MASSIVE and fits my fine, wavy curls. My hair is less frizzy and dries faster now. I love it!

Best Diffuser Made

I have had this Curlsmith hairdryer for over a year now and I still love it. At first sight the diffuser will scare you it's so big but all my hair fits into it with lots of room left. I watched videos on it before I bought it and it showed hovering around your head first. I just started my curly 'old lady routine' at 61 after a bad foot surgery. I never hovered before and after trying it I still don't because the dryer is a little heavy and it tires my arms to fast. I have thin fine natural curly Caucasian hair below my waist. I do however bend over and put all my hair in the diffuser on high and high heat for a few minutes then I sometimes set the dryer on the floor and scrunch my hair over it at low. Sometimes I set it on the counter and do the same but it is a little to high to do it that way comfortably. Sometimes I hold it by the handle as far up as I can go and it doesn't seem as heavy doing it that way. It is absolutely the best hair dryer for curly hair and hopefully it will last me for years. In another post it mentioned the diffuser not staying on due to chips around it. I have never taken my diffuser off and it is tight and has never fallen off. This is after a years worth of using. Happy Curls!!!

By Good dryer diffuser is not made well

From Orlando,Fl

If you plan on removing the diffuser on and off with each use, this is not your dryer. The diffuser plastic ring that holds diffuser to dryer chipped off i no longer stays on the dryer. Got in touch with CurlSmith and they said there was nothing they can do. You have to buy a brand new dryer. It shows me that Curl Smith does not stand behind the dryer and diffuser!
