My hair is on the finer side, but it is long and curly (2c - 3a). I was hesitant about not wetting my hair before wrapping the hair (especially the ends), but given my hair crimps from being in a hair tie, I figured it would be fine. Disappointed
I was so excited to try this product, but was unfortunately disappointed. I'm trying to limit heat styles and have been using my daughter's old leggings for heatless curls. The Sleepy Tie felt like a fancier version. Though the hair wrapped and stayed well, it was SO uncomfortable to sleep in. This might be okay for a back sleeper, but definitely not for a side sleeper. The curls were also inconsistent; one side had loose curls, but the other was totally flat. I'll stick to a pair of leggings for my heatless curls.

So this one really worked the best for me and would recommend it. I gotten alot of compliments on my hair every single time that I've used this, specifically on day 2 and 3 "old" hair. To note, I have alot of long thick hair and dry scalp. The curls get better and better each day until its hair wash day. For me, i found that using a leave in conditioner/styling cream (I really like emi jay leave in) also plays a big role in helping shape and hold the curls. I had one person tell me they could not stop staring at my hair. The only con i have is that this is slightly uncomfortable to sleep in but it is the most comfortable one I've tried so far. I sleep without it clipped and it does move but the curls will remain intact as long as you secure it.

Guys like ive tried every heatless curling sleep situation and when i tell you!!!!! This is the best one on the market hands down. Its so easy to use, never dents my hair, stays all night, so comfortable to sleep in, comes out so easy in the morning and leaves me with beautiful curls that last all day! Thank you sleepy tie i honestly wish i thought of this first lol!

Worked on straight Asian hair!
I absolutely loved this product!! It worked on my straight asian hair and the curls stayed! It was easy to use and comfortable to sleep in! Make sure you clip it going back and not going forward. Its comfortable that way!
