In Love
I have a tight curl to loose wave combo long hair. I've been using Ghost for awhile. The last time I ordered, there was a deal going so I dubiously picked up the curl shampoo & conditioner. I tried it once and the shampoo was thick. I wasn't a fan. I left it in my shower. My daughter stole my ghost ...

Did not lather for me :skin-tone-2::female_sign:
I don't know if I got a bad batch or what, but this shampoo did not have ANY lather whatsoever. When I inquired about this, the answer I got was I needed to clarify my hair or it could have to do with sebum production. Well, I clarified my hair using Verb's Ghost exfoliating scalp serum exactly as t...

New formula is awful
Zero lather, which I understand is supposed to be better for curls, and maybe it is for thinner hair, but all it does for me now is make me use twice as much to get through my thick hair. I used to love this shampoo but its a waste of money now. My hair doesnt feel clean, my scalp defintely doesnt feel clean and I have to wash more often because it gets greasy so quickely. I havent used the shampoo for about a year and it used to be great, guess ill go back to Matrix.
Shampoo does indeed lather
Hair Type Very Curly Hair
I never write reviews, but I had to after seeing all the recent reviews about the new formula not lathering. I was really hesitant to pick up a new bottle, but it does lather. If it doesn't lather during the first cleanse you may need to double cleanse.
It works well..initially hesitant because of newer reviews
No, it doesn't lather. Your hair still feels clean after washing. What I mean is that you know your hair and when your hair is wet and needs to feel washed it it feels a certain way. After you wash with the shampoo it feels clean. So, the shampoo adds more curl definition and volume. I use this shampoo and conditioner and then I diffuse my hair and add products from different companies like mizani and its a 10. I did notice immediately my curls were more defined and my hair was not flat. I shared a picture but keep in mind that I washed my hair the night before and this is the morning after.
Would not repurchase
It may have helped my curls?? Not really sure to be honest, but it doesnt lather, and personally if a shampoo doesn't lather, my hair doesnt feel as clean. That's a personal preference though.
The smell!
Hair Type Wavy Hair
I wish I could tell you anything about this products effectiveness on my curls. I have only tried it once and cannot stand the smell. I would recommend smelling these products in store before you buy.
