I have 4a-4c hair and this is a decent brush for me to properly detangle I'd need denser brush there's a bit too much space for me. But it's good for styling

This review should keep in mind that I am probably not the intended consumer if the product. I am a type 4, probably 4B. I think it's fine. I usually don't use brushes to do my hair, definitely not ones with plastic bristles but this detangled pretty ok. It's a nice looking brush, but definitely more for the type 3 girls.

I've been testing the Curl Define Pro Brush for a few weeks now, and I can confidently say—it's a total game-changer for my 2C/3A curls. This brush has brought out incredible definition and shine in my hair while noticeably reducing frizz. It's made such a difference that I genuinely look forward to styling my curls now. Using it is super intuitive. The pointy end makes sectioning easy, and brushing through small portions of hair (lifting at the roots for volume) has become second nature. You can twist the brush to enhance your natural curl pattern, but I usually just brush each section and give my hair a little shake—it still turns out amazing. Compared to other brushes I've tried, this one stands out in both results and ease of use. Best of all, it only adds about 3–5 minutes to my routine, which is totally worth it for the payoff. If you're on the fence, give it a try—your curls will thank you.

I have long wavy/curly hair and am always looking for brushes that will be gentler on my hair. All I can say is wow, this brush is fantastic at that. It works great at de tangling my hair and I find less hair in the brush than I do with other curl defining brushes I have tried. The handle is easy to hold onto and I like the point for creating parts. Now, do I notice it defining my curls more? Not really. But it also didn't make them worse. My 2 year old also has very curly hair and he sits much better for me since we started using this brush. So that's also a big win in my book. Overall, it has become my new favorite brush because it is so gentle on our hair. But does it define my curls more like it says, I haven't noticed a difference.
