This brush has all the features needed for curly haired girls— soft, yet stiff, boar bristles, a wide shape, and an easy to navigate handle. The only real learning curve with the brush are the side grooves designed to gently guide hair into more defined curls. It makes sense, but I still haven't yet mastered the technique to achieve the desired results. The brush is nifty and designed well so it makes a good addition to one's brush collection.

This a good brush. It easily detangled my hair without too much pulling. It helped my curls be more define, however, my hair did end up with some frizz after it dried. The separation end of the brush tho wasn't that great with separating my hair. It was very easy to clean the brush.

This brush is pretty ok at defining curls, however the brush does not have much depth. To get it to work well, hair needs to be divided in thin sections. I have really thick hair, so divided my hair into thin sections is difficult but also very time consuming. I was hoping this brush would be able to handle more thick hair. I think for thick hair there's probably better options. If your hair is thinner, then this would probably work pretty well for you!

I like to use this awesomely with wet or fully dry hair. It's great for my natural curls as a first and last brush without blowdrying, and with a styled hairdo it's great after a blow and some product. It's a great brush it realizes every curl I have f on the first brush through .
