I've used this for a wash-and-go, a twist-out and a simple slicked-back style now. It performed differently depending on how much I used, but consistently gave me a smooth finish. For my curls, a little more product gave stronger definition; for sleek styles, I could layer it around the hairline without making the whole style heavy.
