Pour 2 parts of Wella Colorcharm developer in bowl or bottle first and then mix in 1 part permanent cream hair color. Apply mixture to the hair. Process for 30 minutes and up to 45 minutes if additional depth or gray coverage is needed.

Although it turned out great, it's more of a level 4, and absolutely not "light brown". It's such a dark brown that it looks black unless in sunlight. I did apply this over previously...

Horrible Color Description!
First time user of this brand. The color said 'Dark Blonde, 6N. My hair is now black! I even shampooed it twice after a 30 minute processing time. Not sure what planet this company gets its color descriptions from, but I'll never use again. I'll be returning the second tube I bought.

Hair Type Wavy Hair
This was my first time trying Wella Colorcharm. I usually use 5N with other brands, so I did with this line as well. Although it turned out great, it's more of a level 4, and absolutely not "light brown". It's such a dark brown that it looks black unless in sunlight. I did apply this over previously highlighted hair, but regardless of what levels my hair was previously, it all turned out almost black. Thankfully I love the color, but I definitely wasn't expecting it to be this dark.
Maybe only because I don't know what else to use.
