Hair Type Straight Hair
At first use I thought I liked it, but after a few washes realized it tends to weigh my hair down and is pretty oily the next day. I have straight, color treated hair, so washing super often is not ideal. I have rinsed well, in cool/cold water, have used less..nothing has made a difference. Wanted to love it, but don't.
Turned off from Redken for life
Unfortunately, as the title says, "Color Extend Magnetics" has turned me off from Redken products forever. I'm not sure what it did, if anything, to my color, but its one of those shampoo/conditioners that just never seem to wash out completely in the shower. I could rinse for fifteen minutes with ice cold water and I'd still feel funk on my hair. Same after drying - my whole head was just stringy, flat, and greasy. How hair can look dirty immediately after a shower and a blow dry is beyond me. I even tried using miniscule amounts of both the shampoo and conditioner and the end result was often the same. Fortunately, I didn't experience a ton of hair loss like some others have, but I did notice a decent amount of brittle strands and breakage if I wasn't careful. My scalp was often itchy and red, as well. It's a shame, Redken products have overall worked okay for me in the past, but I'm never trying anything from them again…
