1: Apply to pre-shampooed, damp hair. Wear gloves.
2: Open color tube and squeeze entire contents into developer bottle.
3: Shake thoroughly until color mixture is totally blended.
4: Use tip end to make 1/2" sections throughout your hair and apply color mixture until completely saturated, working from the front to the back of your head.
5: Put processing cap on and leave color on for 20 minutes.
6: Using lukewarm water, rinse out color until water runs clear. For best results, follow with dpHUE Color Fresh Shampoo and Conditioner. Style as usual.

I have black, low porosity, kinky (4c) hair. This product was fairly easy to apply. The only things that weren't clear were how to get one of the tubes open (you have to use the lid to puncture the seal) and what color the mixture should be when ready to apply. I'm obsessed with this product. I typically need 2 boxes of dye to cover my long and very thick hair. I was thrilled when I only used one and my hair was SATURATED! I do wish it covered a bit more but I'm still very happy!
Amazing product
This product is amazing. I needed to cover up blonde areas in my hair that had been previously bleached from a salon and the sun. I didnt want to spend $300+ at a salon so i foung this option at ulta. Amazing results and really helped even out my very non even hair. I also have very veey thick hair and always require a lot of dye. I bought two boxes but only needed one !! It comes with so much product I was thrilled 😁

This was extremely easy to mix and follow directions to. The black is jet black just how I like it and it stays on so well. My hair is still just as bright black as when I first applied it.
Does not do full coverage.
This product did not touch my roots or the little grey that i have. Did change some of the blonde on the ends. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Only positive it offers, is the smell of the product.
