IGK Color Depositing Conditioning Hair Mask

Awesome product, definitely buying again!

I get my hair permanent + semi-permanent dyed burgundy every 6-8 weeks. It is time consuming and expensive! But, even with the consistent maintenance, my hair is faded and driving me crazy by the time it is appointment day. I got this for the in between and LOVE it! I can't speak to how it would look on hair that doesn't already have the base, but my hair looks as refreshed as it does after a full hair appointment. I applied with a applicator brush with the product poured into a plastic mixing bowl. You need to wear gloves! It is pigment and absolutely will stain your skin! I recommend putting it into dry, non-greasy hair. Section well and start at roots before working your way down until you get to the ends. Take a wide toothed comb and comb the product through to make sure it is even then move on to the next section. Once your whole head is done, put it up in a bun and immediately work on scrubbing off any that got on your skin while you process. I let mine sit for twenty minutes before washing it out. You WILL need to wear clothes you don't mind getting ruined. You WILL need to wash your head upside down in the shower. This is pigment you guys, it is meant to stain and you WANT it to stain! You just need to be mindful and a little careful not to let it sit on your skin too long. The next day my hair is shiny and looks salon quality.

I like this a lot. It keeps my roots as close to the rest of the dye I use on my hair as possible, and it's able to mitigate gray hair, which is harder to dye than other colors due to the way its structured and how the outermost layer for each strand is more closed off. You don't need much product at all if you're just doing roots, so it lasts a long time. The color is super vibrant. However, it WILL stain, so be prepared to use a shower cap, gloves, and stain remover or cleaning product right away. It lasts about 4-6 days for me with washing my hair every other day. I'm only knocking a star off for the staining potential. If you don't get to it right away, it's a nightmare to remove even with appropriate cleaning supplies.

Absolutely love. I put it on dry hair for 1-2 hrs and it creates an intense blue black. If you leave it on for the recommended instructions, itll be a bright blue like a smurf. Only bad thing is it dyes everything including hands and shower. Color on hair stays for about 2 weeks with hot water before fading.

I love this mask. I recently got my hair professionally done. (Lightening service to get rid of black box dye). So my hair was compromised and I asked for copper and didnt love it. Not the stylists fault. Anyways, i wanted to neutralize the copper a bit and go more brown so I used brown bella. USE IT ON DRY/SLIGHTLY DAMP HAIR FOR THE BEST RESULT. I highly reccomend this if you're looking for a non damaging temporary color. I think it turned out really pretty!
