- Q
What is the best way to blend the Chubby stick contour?
- Asked by elle
- Verified Reply - Brand ExpertHi! There are a few options that can work nicely. You can either use your fingers, a Clinique Buff Brish or a Clinique Foundation Brush. The last option quite a bit smaller, but my personal favorite when contouring. It is called the Clinique Eye Shader Brush. It works nicely, as it keeps your product isolated exactly where you are looking to contour. Thanks for your question and happy contouring! Was this answer helpful to you

Great way to contour!
I've never really been into contouring cause I have such fair skin, but I've been so happy with so many of Clinique's products that I had to try this. This stick seriously makes contours SO simple. It bends wonderfully, and I like to keep it really light. Like all of the other chubby sticks you can ...

Returned!
I purchase the Chubby Contour Stick along with the Chubby Highlighter. The Highlighter I LOVE but the Contour Stick was way too orange-y for my fair skin and also did not blend smooth enough for me. I liked the size of the applicator, and its easy application concept but the formula and shade just w...

Sad Clinique Missed On This One

I usually like Clinique products but I have a pet peeve with brands that confuse contouring and bronzing colors because if develop and sell makeup, you should understand the difference in what these products are meant to do. Unfortunately, this is the case with this Clinique "contour" stick which is actually a bronzer stick. I might be willing to overlook that and just use this as a bronzer but it's too matte for that so it ends up looking muddy. If the color was reformulated to be a true contour shade (neutral to cool toned), it would be a good product but as is it's not a good contour or bronzer. I received this product for free from Clinique for testing and review purposes.
Love the texture

I really enjoy using the Clinique Chubby Stick™ Sculpting Contour Stick because it makes contouring feel simple and stress-free. The texture is creamy and comfortable, so it blends easily with my fingers or a brush without looking heavy or muddy. I like how it gives me soft, natural definition rather than a dramatic contour, which makes it perfect for everyday wear. It's one of those products I reach for when I want my skin to look subtly sculpted and effortless.

New holy grail

Okay this is my new holy grail. The contour stick is super easy to use, blends out in like two seconds, and doesn't leave that muddy or patchy look. It's very "your face but better". Perfect for everyday makeup or when you want definition without looking overdone. Also love that it feels creamy, not greasy, and doesn't break me out. I received this product for free from Clinique for testing and review purposes.
Natural, blendable contour for everyday wear

I received this product for free from Clinique for testing and review purposes and I'm really glad I got to try it. The Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour is super easy to use it glides on smoothly, blends without patchiness, and has that perfect creamy-but-not-oily feel. I mostly used it in the morning as part of my everyday makeup because it's basically swipe, blend, done. The texture makes contouring quick, and the neutral-warm tone adds definition without looking orangey or muddy. On the skin it feels lightweight and comfortable, not greasy and not dry or stiff, which I really appreciate for a cream contour. There's no strong scent at all (which I prefer), and the texture is one of the best parts creamy enough to blend easily but not so soft that it slips around or melts off. Longevity is solid for a cream formula; it lasts through a full day on normal skin, and if you're oilier you may just want to set it with a powder to keep the edges clean. Price-wise Clinique sits in the mid-range, but you do get reliable performance and a practical stick format that's ideal for travel or quick makeup. If you're into dramatic sculpting this might feel too subtle, but for natural everyday contour it's honestly one of the easiest cream options I've used.
