- Sea Buckthorn (Hippophae Rhamnoides Fruit Oil): Due to its high content of carotenoids, it has potent cell-regenerating, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties. It is also well suited for mature skin as it helps to stimulate the formation of new cells and the skin's metabolic processes.

Can you use retinoid serum with this

I was on the market for alternatives to my beloved DHC Extra Nighttime Moisture after the initial tariff hikes, and this is is one of the products I bought due to the great reviews here. I started noticing weird whiteheads pop up, but as I was using 3-4 different moisturizers at the time, I kept this one in rotation (also because of how pricy it was!). I usually have pretty clear skin but it is can also be quite sensitive. All these months later, I feel like I've finally isolated the issue to this product. Best way I can describe it is that my skin feels kind of 'trapped' when I use it. I also just did a quick Google search and the brand sounds a little sketchy. Not discounting all the good reviews here, and skincare works differently for everyone, but after this incident, I'm sticking to more reputable brands from now on. I also don't really care about vegan/cruelty-free/clean labels....I didn't know that was their marketing because I've kind of been conditioned to see this as a red flag tbh.

I've tried to make this product work for a month, but it just doesn't work for me. It just feels like it's sitting on top of my skin. My skin feels dry after I apply it.
It works
It stings a little bit but not to the point where it's really noticeable. When I wake up my skin is plump, my jawline and chin area have tightened some, and I feel like my skin is also just firmer all around.

This might cream is exactly what I needed. Winter weather has my skin feeling dry and this has absolutely helped. Great for maturing skin
