Works better than I thought it would
The skin matching ability of this product was shocking (in a good way). It has replaced my foundation routine and has reduced my makeup routine. I have brown skin and the tan worked perfect. I would definitely buy again.
An Exceptional CC Serum for Effortless, Natural Coverage
I purchased this product completely on a whim. I had originally gone into the store intending to try the Chanel Water-Fresh Tint, as I was looking for something lightweight and natural for everyday wear. After seeing several advertisements for the Tarte CC Serum on social media, I decided it was worth testing in person. I had the Chanel tint in my hand when I tried the Tarte CC Serum—and I immediately put the Chanel product down. Not only is the Tarte significantly more affordable, but the coverage, finish, and color match are truly exceptional and unlike anything else I have used. At 40, I would consider my skin to be mature, although I am still able to wear a variety of base products formulated for all ages. I also grew up with very oily skin, so finding a complexion product that works well with my skin while still looking natural has not always been easy. This serum, however, has completely exceeded my expectations. My makeup collection includes both high-end foundations and more affordable drugstore options, yet this has quickly become my go-to for everyday coverage. It provides beautiful, buildable coverage, wears comfortably throughout the day, and maintains an exceptionally natural appearance without feeling heavy or overly made up. The shade match has been particularly impressive. I have light skin with a subtle olive undertone, and Medium is an absolutely perfect match for me. It blends seamlessly into my complexion without looking too warm, too pink, or too yellow. For days when I want a more complete, full-glamorous makeup look, this product performs equally well. It layers and blends beautifully with other complexion products, including both cream and powder formulas, without pilling or disrupting the makeup underneath. Overall, I am genuinely impressed. What began as an impulse purchase has become one of the most frequently used products in my makeup collection. For the price point, exceptional coverage, impressive wear time, and incredibly natural finish, this CC Serum has surpassed even some of the most expensive complexion products in my vanity. It is, without question, one of my favorite everyday complexion products.
Just didn't hit the mark
The first time I wore this product I actually really liked it. That was until about 5 of having it on. Product started separating and streaky. Made my face feel oily and dirty. I only wear this product if im running a few errands as it foesnt last all day.
Great for my mature skin
Good coverage with light application.
My Daily Ritual
I apply every single day after my moisturizer. If I never apply any more makeup that day, my face looks amazing. My face stays dewy and moist and the color correction for me is perfection. Tan is my go to. I love this product.
