My hair loves it!
I've been using the Caviar Anti Aging Sheer Dry Shampoo from Alterna for a little while now and I honestly really like it. I received this as part of an educational promotion but these are my real thoughts after actually using it. I have a super oily scalp but my hair itself is really dry and frizzy which is literally the worst combo, so finding a dry shampoo that doesn't make everything worse is hard. This one actually absorbs the oil without making my hair feel stiff or even more dry. It doesn't leave that heavy white residue either which I love because some dry shampoos make my roots look gray and dusty. My hair looks fresher and has a little volume, and somehow it doesn't feel as frizzy either. It just looks more put together on the days I don't wash it. I wouldn't say it fully replaces washing but it definitely helps me stretch my wash days and my hair feels lighter and less greasy. It is a little pricey but it feels high quality and actually works for my hair type, so for me it's been worth it.

I have been using dry shampoo for years. My hair type is thick and wavy so I don't typically need dry shampoo until the end of the week as I only wash my hair once a week. This is my first time trying anything from the Alterna hair care line. I did receive this product in exchange for my honest review. The first think that caught my eye is the Anti Aging. The dry shampoo does have a potent smell compared to others I have tried. Once sprayed it went on clear and did not show on my dark hair. The dry shampoo did absorb in the areas I sprayed and worked as a dry shampoo. The price point is on the higher size and would not be something I would purchase on a daily.

I have straight to slightly wavy hair and this dry shampoo gives a very clean refreshed look without leaving a heavy white cast. It absorbs oil quickly adds soft volume and does not make my scalp itchy. Hair still feels natural and touchable even the next day.

Really great dry shampoo! I usually hesitate from wearing dry shampoo as someone with dark brown/black hair, but this one goes on quite clear. The smell is definitely strong, a bit of a floral/soapy smell, but I found it quite pleasant and fresh.
