Really nice lip 'contour'. It's not as harsh as a lip liner, and it's very blendable. I was looking for a dupe for the Rhode beauty peptide lip shape, and I think it's a pretty good substitute. I bought the color 535 Brown Caramel. After looking at a lot of other pictures and reviews, I thought this may be a little too dark for my complexion (NC15- fair), but it's not too dark at all. It's buildable, and depending how heavy handed you are/ aren't, you can definitely make it sheer. It applies really smooth, but it does seem like it transfers easily. Overall I would purchase it again. It's a very versatile product where you can wear on its own, with lipstick, lip gloss, lip oil or even chapstick.
didn't WOW me
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] there's a learning curve! I do like how nicely it matched my lip color but I did have a hard time trying to figure out how to "contour" my lips! i'm still not sure if I nailed it yet, lol. I didn't notice a fragrance which is good and it leaves a nice natural finish on the lips. it rubbed of kind of quickly but it's no biggie to me.
Works great with lip plumper
I love the way this works with my Polite Society lip plumper. It's the first time I've bought a lip liner in a long time and I'm so glad I did! I love the soft blurry look instead of the harsh lip liners. Getting old is NOT for sissies! I'm grateful to Ulta for working with me to find the products I need.
Nude espresso is my fave mlbb
These are similar to Korean lip liners where it's soft and blurring, but longevity isn't the best. Nonetheless, it's my fave kind of lip liner. I've swatched them from top to bottom: worth it, nude espresso, brown caramel, mocha mousse. The online pics of brown caramel and mocha mousse are not accurate at all. Brown caramel is very opaque and not very cool tone on me; and mocha mousse is very sheer (even sheerer than nude espresso). Mocha mousse would be my second fave.
Buildable and beautiful!
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Worth it was the perfect shade! I love its build ability (can see it in the picture). It goes on smoothly and builds easily. It didn't last quite as long as I had hoped but still lasted awhile! Will definitely keep using!
