Not for me
I was hoping to like this fragrance since I do like Opium and LOVE Belle D'Opium, but this version is not for me. The floral component is overwhelming and gave me a headache. I'm sure it will smell lovely on someone else, but I will stick with Belle D'Opium.

I absolutely LOVE this perfume! I wish I bought it sooner! It smells amazing and is so long lasting! It has become my new favorite perfume and I find myself reaching for this one more than my other perfumes! I got the 3 oz and I'm so glad I did and got it for a great price! I highly recommend it!

My established winter perfume
Black Opium Eau de Parfum is slightly less vanilla heavy than Black Opium Le Parfum, but both are delectable. Eau de Parfum is slightly crisper, with more floral and coffee notes, but it's never powdery. Le Parfum lives up to its name with a longer lasting scent with the same or slightly fewer spritz. For both, I spray them at the roots of my hair at the back of my head and between my shoulder blades. The scent stays in my hair until washed. Its projection isn't very far for the strength of the scent, but I find its sillage, when applied to my back, perfect for being noticeable without being heavy. This isn't a light scent; if someone in your life is sensitive to scents then this may be too much for their nose or allergies to handle. I step outside if someone mentions a sensitivity to perfume. **Both scents, but especially Eau de Parfum, have the ability to leave pink marks on white clothing if sprayed directly. I've only seen this on machine-washable clothes, and it's never stained anything that I've noticed. Specific compliments both perfumes have received: Captivating, entrancing, incredible, enthralling, delicious, and perfect.
