- Q
Can you use this with mandelic serum?
- Asked by Beatrice
- Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand EngageHi there, we do not recommend layering both acids in the same regimen. You can, however, alternate (ie. Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% one night, Mandelic Acid 10% + HA the next). We hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
Can I use alpha arbutin and azelaic acid in the same routine? Which one is best for post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, to fade dark spots? How do I used
- Asked by Ms. V
- Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand EngageHi there, Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA and Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% may be used together in the same routine. We'd recommend applying Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA first. For pigmentation, we recommend Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA. Simply apply a few drops to the face after cleansing, and follow it up with your Azelaic Acid Suspension 10%. We hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you

1. Can this be layered with topical prescription strength (0.05%) retinoid at night? If yes, now? 2. Can this be layered with C E ferulic acid 3. Can this be layered with AHA BHA moisturizer
- Asked by Ch
- Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand EngageHi there! Unfortunately, it is difficult for us to comment on the pairing of our products with those of other brands. We recommend consulting with your doctor/dermatologist, gradually incorporating one new product into your regimen at a time, and applying test patches first to see what works best for your skin. We recommend applying Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% and AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution in separate regimens. We hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you

- Q
Would this be okay for teen skin if i use it 2x-3x a week?
- Asked by A
- Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand EngageThe Ordinary's products are intended for adult skin. Though we have no reason to think that The Ordinary’s products would be harmful for young people, less mature/younger skin is often more sensitive and frequently changing. For young people we recommend a simple routine of cleansing and hydrating as we do not want to interfere with skin development. For persistent skin issues or specific concerns, we suggest consulting with your doctor/dermatologist about safe and suitable treatments. Was this answer helpful to you

50/50 Product
I have bought this product three times now. I have pros and cons about this product. I do feel like it is the cheapest for what it is. But every time I use it, I feel a tight tingling on my face. I also feel like the tube is always a little low on product when I get it. But overall I love the way it makes my face feel/look.
