There is no better for me
positive review so it helps selling, because I don't want it to be discontinued. I always try other brands, but I can't find any close to this one, especially colorwise I've tried many eyebrow pencils over the years, but I've been coming back to this one for a long time. The main reason is the shade Ash, which is surprisingly hard to find. It's a perfect cool brown-grey tone that works much better for me than warmer shades. The formula is also just right — not too dry and not too soft — which makes it easy to apply and control. I've seen some people mention issues with longevity, but personally I haven't experienced that at all, even though I have oily skin. I'm leaving this positive review because I truly hope this product continues to sell and doesn't get discontinued. I often try other brands out of curiosity, but I've never found anything that comes close to this one, especially when it comes to the color.
Not worth it at all
I normally love everything Hourglass and have been using their products for at least 15 years. Ive tried a couple shades of this brow pencil and returned both. Its too thick to be natural looking especially when filling in the ends of my brows and the worst part is it fades even without me touching my face. Just from using my normal moisturizer and sunscreen before applying, it melts away in a couple hours leaving a weird, drooping smudge where the ends of my eyebrows used to be. I wanted to love this but I cannot recommend this product at all.

So basically its a crap shoot if pulling the lid off will actually pull the lid off or not, making it ever MORE difficult to try and not let the makeup stick go flying out of the tube. All in all, the reduced quality/longevity was not worth the cost savings. Note: I do not travel with this product it sits with the rest of my makeup at home. It wasnt like this upon arrival it all started after a couple weeks of usage.
