The Best
This is hands down the best powder foundation I have used in a long time. I am all about efficiency and making things quick, so I rarely use liquid foundation. Therefore, I have tried a LOT of powder foundations. This one is one of the best. It stays all day, provides coverage without making you look cakey, can use under the eye withour drying it out, and the amount you get lasts a decently long time, so it's a good value there. Plus, there is a pretty decent shade range, and since it's a powder, there is some flexibility in matching. This foundation has become my holy grail and I just keep repurchasing it. I hope it never gets discontinued.

I have used the cream version of the Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation for many years, usually in shade 18B (which is now only available on line-sometimes!). I wanted something lighter and decided to try the powder version of this foundation. The closest shade was 20B, so I bought that. It is wonderful! Color match is very good; foundation is buildable, has a nice smooth matte finish and does not settle into my lines. I do use a mattifying primer under this foundation, as well as some concealer under my eyes and in red spots between brows and on cheeks. With those products under this foundation, it covers well, hides the redness pretty well, and stays smooth for hours without getting cakey or turning orange. This is the second time I have purchased this-decided to get another one as long as it is on the 21 Days of Beauty Sale for half price! I took off one star for the applicator. It's okay, but very thin. At this price, I would expect a better applicator. I usually use a dry round make up sponge instead of the applicator in the compact. I have also used a brush to brush a thin layer of this over a liquid foundation.
I would buy this product again
I love this powder. It's a quick and easy powder to even out your skin tone so your out the door in no time. I highly recommend it.
