This new formula is terrible
I have faithfully used this foundation for about 7 years now. In the last year, Tarte changed the formula with this foundation and it is absolutely horrendous. I can't find a shade that matches me anymore and I thought something was off with the texture of it now and came here to realize reviews say...

Terrible formulation
So disappointing. Love, love Tarte products but this particular foundation is a fail. Very cakey even on my normal mature skin. Dries so fast you don't even have time to apply it evenly.

Love this make up stays on all day it is smooth when your it in my face.
Wanted to love it
The soft powder finish was beautiful from about 12 feet away. The shade was nice. The rest of the product was awful. This is the first foundation that I've ever driven to a store and returned. I used it once and had to wash my face after completing my make up. I thought I could "fix" it and deal with it for the day but no. It made my face look about 15 years older. It settled into places that I didn't know it could settle. It emphasized texture, pores, everything. It was just gross. I was so excited to find a neutrual fair foundation but shortly disappointed with the quality.
It's great, just not a perfect match
I love this foundation, I'm just really upset that they changed the formula because the match is no where near the one I was used to.
