Strong so always prep skin first

Okay, so I've had time to use it, knowing that it would take longer than the trial time to show the full improvements it's meant to give but I've been able to assess quite a bit since I'm a skincare fan and know my way around the good and bad. First off, this has all the markers of high end. The sm...ell, the bottle, the feel of the product itself are all what you expect from top quality brands. The bottle is smooth and durable and the pump is sleek and easy to distribute just the amount you need. It didn't take long to figure out that amount. It's very potent stuff so go easy on it. It absorbs well and doesn't leave behind a thick feeling or visible residue. Which brings me to why I didn't give it five stars. You have to be really careful not to get it too close to the eye. This isn't something that you can just close your eyes and rub over the lid. It irritated my eye and needed to be washed off to reapply when I did that, but luckily, it does solve the problem. I also noticed that it can irritate or cause a burning sensation if you sweat so I'd stick to only using the contour before bed and in the morning only when you know you won't be active. Like I said, it can be rinsed away and reapplied to clean soothed skin once dry. I'm used to retinol eye creams so this is nothing to new for me but for those not used to potent eye creams, go very small on the amount, keep it away from the lash line and mind that sweat can alter the pH and cause sensitivity. Otherwise, it does feel comparable to very effective eye creams I've used before. Generally, I tone and moisturize first to make eye creams less irritating. A lot of people that have negative results don't realize it's important to prep your clean skin and do this step last. And I feel like I should add, definitely not for very young skin. I've seen a recent trend in children getting expensive anti-aging skin care products that can do harm and even permanently damage. This is one of those that is clearly meant for mature skin that can handle stronger chemicals. Even adults should be properly prepping to tolerate strong ingredients though.
